Panner Mushroom Crispies

Crushed paneer covered with mushroom and deep fried.

Ingredients
  

For preparing mushrooms:

  • 250 g Button mushrooms sliced into halves
  • 1/2 cup Onion finely chopped
  • 2 nos Green chillies chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • Salt As reqd

For preparing paneer:

  • 250 g Paneer crushed
  • 3 tbsp All purpose flour Maida
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 nos Green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 no Egg beaten
  • Ghee For frying
  • Bread crumbs As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing mushrooms, first saute onions and green chillies in butter.
  • Add sliced mushrooms, required salt and pepper powder. Cover the vessel with a lid and cook in low heat for some time.
  • Increase the heat and let the water evaporate completely. Keep the cooked mushrooms aside.
  • For preparing paneer, mix crushed paneer, maida, baking powder, green chillies, coriander leaves and required salt.
  • Mix the paneer mix gently and keep aside for a few minutes.
  • Take a small round of the paneer mixture and cover the round with a cooked mushroom piece.
  • Dip each paneer mushroom in the beaten egg and roll over bread crumbs.
  • Take a pan and pour sufficient ghee for frying.
  • Heat the ghee and deep fry the paneer mushroom crispies until golden in color.
