Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups All purpose flour Maida
  • 100 g Butter softened
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 nos Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups Over ripe bananas any variety of banana, mashed
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 160c. Grease an 8 inch cake pan.
  • Combine flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and sugar in a large bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, beat eggs. Add melted butter, sour cream, mashed banana and vanilla.
  • Stir with a spoon till well combined.
  • Make a well in the centre of the flour mixture. Pour the wet ingredients into it and mix with a spoon till thoroughly combined.
  • Spoon the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for an hour until risen and golden brown.
