Instructions
Soak the tamarind in hot water.
Add turmeric, chilly powder and sufficient water to the grated coconut and grind until smooth.
Take a pan and put the cleaned prawns, sliced tomatoes, green chillies, ginger paste, curry leaves, salt and tamarind water and mix well with hand.
Add coconut mixture to the prawns and stir well.(If it is any other fish, add fish only after the mixture is boiled)
Bring to boil in medium flame. Cook for 15-20 minutes by stirring in between.
Fish curry in vadakkan style is ready. Have it with rice.
