Soak rajma in water overnight.
Add salt and water to Rajma and pressure cook. Do not discard the water after pressure cooking.
Grind onion, ginger, garlic, tomato and chillies into a paste.
Put oil in a kadhai and splutter cumin seeds.
Add the paste into it and saute very well.
Add turmeric powder, chilly powder, coriander powder and pepper powder.
Add the water in which rajma was cooked.
Once it is boiled well add the rajma and cook till it forms a good thick gravy. Add salt if necessary.
