Rajma Masala - North Indian Style

Easy to make North Indian Style Rajma Masala curry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Rajma
  • 1 no Onion big size
  • 1 no Tomato
  • 1 piece Ginger
  • Garlic few pods
  • 2-3 nos Green Chillies
  • Cumin seeds few
  • 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Chilly powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Pepper powder

Instructions
 

  • Soak rajma in water overnight.
  • Add salt and water to Rajma and pressure cook. Do not discard the water after pressure cooking.
  • Grind onion, ginger, garlic, tomato and chillies into a paste.
  • Put oil in a kadhai and splutter cumin seeds.
  • Add the paste into it and saute very well.
  • Add turmeric powder, chilly powder, coriander powder and pepper powder.
  • Add the water in which rajma was cooked.
  • Once it is boiled well add the rajma and cook till it forms a good thick gravy. Add salt if necessary.
  • :- Garnish the Rajma Masala with coriander leaves!! :- Enjoy Rajma Masala!!!
