Custard And Jelly Dessert

Ingredients
  

For the custard:-

  • 1/2 cup Corn flour
  • 3 cups Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 3 tbs Sugar
  • 1 cup Fresh fruits halved strawberry, kiwi, banana,peach, grape

For the topping:-

  • 5 tbsp Raspberry /strawberry jelly powder
  • 1/2 cup Hot water
  • 1/2 cup Cold water
  • 1 no Loose bottom cake tin

Instructions
 

  • Combine biscuit and butter with your fingers.
  • Press mixture into a loose bottom cake tin and place in fridge for 10 minutes.
  • Dissolve cornflour in little milk.Put rest of the milk and sugar to boil in a sauce pan.
  • Bring the heat down,gradually add cornflour mixture and vanilla to the milk and stir continuously till it thickens.
  • Spoon the custard over the crust. Lay the fresh fruits in single layer over the custard and set to chill in the fridge.
  • Dissolve the jelly powder in 1/2 cup hot water and stir till dissolved.
  • Add cold water and stir well.
  • Pour the cooled jelly over the custard and return to the fridge to chill till the jelly is firm.
  • Remove the custard and cut into squares with a sharp knife.
