Peanut Broccoli Salad

My friend passed this recipe and I wanted to share

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz Packaged broccoli slaw
  • 6 nos Green onions sliced
  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds
  • 3 oz Packaged Ramen noodles crushed
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Dark sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup Canola Oil
  • 1 cup Dry Roasted Peanuts coarsely chopped
  • OR
  • 1 cup JIF Cashews coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes crushed

Instructions
 

  • Chop broccoli slaw with knife to make bite-sized pieces. Combine with green onions in a large bowl.
  • Pour the 2 tablespoons oil into medium skillet over medium low heat.
  • Add sesame seeds and crushed noodles (save seasoning packet in package for another use) and cook and stir until noodles begin to turn golden brown. Add to broccoli mixture.
  • Whisk together sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil and canola oil, in a small bowl.
  • Pour dressing over broccoli mixture.
  • Add peanuts and red pepper flakes, if desired - toss until coated.
  • :- For a milder dressing, use white vinegar instead of cider vinegar.
  • :- Peanut Broccoli Salad is ready!!!
