Prawn Salad
Prawns in wine, soya sauce and salad leaves

- Prawns – 250 gms (washed and de veined), washed and de
- Fresh lettuce leaves and oak leaves shredded
- 2 tbsp Thai salad dressing Thai choice brand
- 2 nos Cucumber sliced in batons
- 1 tbsp Garlic minced
- 1 no Onion sliced thinly, medium size
- 1 tsp Sugar
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp White pepper
- 1 tbsp Sherry wine
- Sesame oil for cooking
Marinate the prawns in soya sauce and sugar for 20 minutes.
In a heated wok add oil, and fry the garlic and onions for 30 seconds.
Add prawns and stir fry on high heat till the colour changes to opaque.
Add sherry, Thai salad dressing, pepper,salt and stir the contents. Remove from fire.
Transfer to a plate and add lettuce, oak leaves and cucumbers. Toss well.
