Wash and cut chicken into medium pieces.
Grind garlic pods in mixer.
In cooker, add chicken, little turmeric,salt, pepper, garlic (mashed), little water (11/2 small glass) and allow it for 4 whistles.
Take kadai, add oil, add bay leaves, cinnamon, krambu and fry for a minute.
Add green chillies and fry for a minute.
Add onions and fry till golden brownish.
Add chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and fry till it gets little thicker.
If it sticks to the bottom of kadai, add the left water which is in cooker and fry it till the powder smell goes off.
Add chicken along with water into the masala.
Keep stirring if it sticks to the pan and add little water if required.
Add coriander leaves at the end and squeeze little lime.
