Cheera (Spinach) Thoran

Easy cheera thoran to make which goes with rice. Cheera thoran is a very healthy dish especially for kids. Cheera is very high in nutrition.

Ingredients
  

  • Red or green spinach leaves as reqd
  • 4 nos Small Onion Kunjulli
  • 1 small Coconut Grated
  • 3 nos Green chilly if u want it to be spicy add 2 more
  • 1 tbsp Coconut oil
  • Salt as reqd

Instructions
 

  • Cut the spinach leaves along with the stem.
  • Grind the coconut, kunjulli and greeen chillies in mixie for 30 seconds.
  • Mix the leaves and ground paste together with salt and cook this in a kadai for 4-5 minutes. :- stir it in between.
  • Once it is cooked add 1 tbsp oil into cheera thoran and stir well.
  • :- Serve Cheera thoran hot with rice!!!
