Ingredients
  

  • 450 gm Split Bengal gram Kadalaparippu
  • 450 gm Sugar
  • 100 gm Whole wheat flour
  • 100 gm Refined flour
  • 100 gm Rice flour Oil
  • 25 ml Nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • Sort the Bengal gram and wash it well.
  • Add just enough water to cook. 3)Cook till water evaporates and gram becomes tender.
  • Add sugar and cook until mixture becomes thick.
  • Pass mixture through a sieve while it is hot.
  • Add grated nutmeg.
  • Make a very soft dough with rice flour, wheat flour, refined flour, water and oil.
  • Keep for one to two hours.
  • Make balls of the gram dal mixture.
  • Take a small amount of dough and spread over the gram dal balls.
  • Roll out and bake on a dosa tawa or thick griddle till done.
  • Turn over and bake the other side.
