Golden Fried Prawns

Ingredients
  

  • 500 gms Prawns Medium sized
  • 3 tbsp Corn flour
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Maida plain flour
  • tbsp Ginger/garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp Chilly sauce
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder
  • Egg white of 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Ajinomoto
  • Salt to taste
  • Water to make thick paste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Clean & devein prawns. :- You can keep the tail intact.
  • Marinate the cleaned prawns with salt & pepper and keep aside for 15 mins.
  • Mix cornflour, maida, salt, pepper, baking powder, ajinomoto, ginger/garlic paste, chilly sauce, egg whites & little water to make a thick paste.
  • Add the marinated prawns & mix well.
  • Deep fry in oil for 3 minutes till golden brown.
  • :- Serve hot with sauce...as starters..
  • :- You may insert toothpicks into the prawns, so that it wont curl.
