Head oil or ghee in a Khade.
Fry the sliced onions till golden brown over medium heat.
Add the garlic, ginger and saute for few minutes.
Add Bay leaf, Cardmom, whole black pepper, dry red chillies, cumin seeds, coriander leaves and cloves.
After a minute, add water and salt.
Cover and cook for about 5 minutes.
Add the tomatoes and simmer, covered on low heat till soft and mushy.
Add meat and yogurt, stir well, cover and cook till tender (medium heat).
Stir occasionally and add spoonful or two of hot water if necessary.
:- Excellent with rumali or tandoor roti, or even chappati!!!
