Pepper Chicken - Dry

Easy ,hot and spicy pepper chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Chicken
  • 1 no Cloves
  • 1 no Bay leaves
  • 2 nos Cinnamon
  • Curry leaves few
  • 5 nos Green chillies
  • Coriander leaves few
  • 200 gm Onions
  • 1 small Curd
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 4 tsp Pepper powder
  • Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala
  • Salt as reqd
  • 2 tbsp Oil

Instructions
 

  • Mix the chicken with curd, turmeric powder and some salt and marinate for about 1 hour.
  • Heat oil in a pan and sautT the spices followed by the onions.
  • When they are soft, add the ginger garlic paste and curry leaves.
  • Add marinated chicken and salt and bring it full boil. Keep stirring occasionally
  • When the chicken is half cooked add garam masala, pepper powder and salt, add some water if required.
  • Stir for sometime on a low flame.
  • Add coriander leaves.
  • Remove from the heat.
  • Serve hot with any rice or pratas.
