Ingredients
  

  • 2 nos Raw plantain Pacha kaya
  • 1 1/2 tsp Dry red chilly crushed
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves
  • 10 nos Small onions Kunjulli
  • Salt As reqd
  • 2 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup Water

Instructions
 

  • For preparing Pacha Kaya Mezhukkupuratty, cut the plantain into small pieces.
  • Wash them well with salt.
  • In a cooker, add these pieces along with 1/4 cup of water and salt.
  • Pressure cook it. One whistle is enough.
  • Open the cooker after 5 minutes.
  • Cut the shallots into fine slices.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add the onion slices and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add the crushed chillies and curry leaves into the onion.
  • Saute them well until the raw smell of the chilly goes.
  • Now add the cooked kaya to this onion and mix well.
  • Saute for few more minutes on low flame.
