Kerala Rajma Masala

Ingredients
  

  • 250 gm Rajma dhal soak in water overnight
  • 2 nos Onion finely chopped
  • 3 nos Tomato finely chopped
  • 2 nos Garlic pods finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 handful Curry leaves
  • 4 tsp Coconut oil
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Cook rajma in pressure cooker with salt and turmeric. Keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add mustard, curry leaves, garlic and onion one by one.
  • Add tomato and let it cook for 2 mins.
  • Add chilli powder, salt and coriander powder.
  • Fry for few seconds.
  • Add the cooked rajma to this with 50 ml water.
  • Let it boil for 2 mins.
  • Add coconut milk and remove from stove.
  • Garnish with curry leaves and sprinkle few drops of coconut oil.
  • :- Serve with roti, rice, idly or dosa.
