Spicy Prawn gravy - Prawns Thokku

Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm Prawns cleaned and washed
  • 2 tsp Garam masala
  • 4 numbers Onion finely chopped
  • 5 nos Tomato finely chopped
  • Ginger garlic paste - 6 tsp
  • 2 tsp Chilli powder
  • 3 tsp Coriander powder
  • ½ tsp Pepper powder
  • 100 ml Oil
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Heat a non stick pan.
  • Add 75 ml oil.
  • When oil is warm, add onion, garam masala and ginger garlic paste.
  • When this is turning golden brown, add tomatoes and salt.
  • Let it cook for 10 mins.
  • Add chilli powder, pepper powder and coriander powder.
  • Let it cook for 10 mins.
  • Take from fire and let it cool.
  • After it's cool, grind in a mixture grinder to make a nice paste.
  • :- Do not add water.
  • Heat the remaining oil and pour the mixture.
  • When the mixture separates, add prawns and cook for 10 mins and remove from heat.
  • :- Good with rice or roti.
