split coarsely by hand into small tiny pieces

Onion

Mustard seeds

Turmeric powder

Red chilly powder

Red dry chilly
split into half

Black gram
Uzhunnuparippu
Curry leaves

As reqd

Instructions
Heat pan and add oil.
Add mustard, red chilly and curry leaves.
Add black gram and fry.
Add chopped onions and fry well.
When onions are fried, add chilly powder and turmeric powder and fry well.
Add idly and sprinkle salt.
Cook on low flame for 5 mins.
:- Serve hot.
:- Kids will love it for an evening snack or morning breakfast. Left over idly can be kept in fridge and can be used like this instead of wasting.
