Fish Biriyani (Meen)- Hyderabadi

Ingredients
  

Ingredient 1:-

  • 1 kg Fish boneless
  • Salt As reqd
  • 4 nos Bay leaf Vazhana ela
  • 30 gm Caraway seeds Shah jeera
  • 20 gm Cardamom Elakka
  • 20 gm Cinnamon Karugapatta
  • 200 gm Garlic paste
  • 100 gm Ginger paste
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 100 gm Chilly powder
  • 50 gm Coriander powder
  • 50 gm Cumin powder
  • 20 gm Turmeric powder
  • 5 gm Garam masala powder
  • 300 gm Fried onions
  • 100 gm Mint leaves
  • 100 gm Coriander leaves
  • 500 gm Yogurt
  • 300 ml Ghee
  • 20 gm Green chillies

Ingredient 2:-

  • 1 kg Rice
  • 1 pinch Saffron
  • 200 ml Milk Boil milk and add above saffron
  • 1 handful Fried onion
  • 100 ml Ghee
  • Coriander leaves A handful
  • Mint leaves A handful

Instructions
 

  • Mix all the (Ingredients :1) with fish and marinate well.
  • Keep the marinated fish in a thick bottom cooker and keep aside.
  • Cook the rice upto 70% with salt and is emptied over the cooker with fish.
  • Add ghee over the rice and sprinkle saffron milk, coriander, mint and fried onion.
  • Cover the cooker with a lid tightly.
  • :- Steam should not come out.
  • Keep on low gas for 5 mins and remove from stove.
  • :- Serve hot!!!
