Tamatar Chutney

Coconut and tomato sauce to use with dosas

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Coconut
  • 2 nos Tomatoes sliced, big size
  • Salt as reqd
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp Fenugreek
  • 5 nos Curry leaves
  • 5 nos Dry Red Chillies
  • Oil as reqd

Instructions
 

  • Grind and mix Coconut, tomatoes and salt with water required for consistency of chutney - in a mixer.
  • Heat Oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds and fenugreek.
  • Add Dry Red Chillies and Curry leaves.
  • Pour the mixture of coconut and tomatoes into the pan.
  • Put the flame off immediately.
  • :- Serve with crisp dosas. Yum!!!
