Kerala Style Pepper Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Chicken cut into small pieces
  • 4 nos Tomato cut into small pieces
  • 6 nos Onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp Garlic paste
  • 2 tsp Pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper crushed
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 pinch Garam masala
  • Oil As reqd
  • Salt As reqd
  • Curry leaves
  • 5 tsp Ghee

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Saute the chopped onion till golden brown.
  • Add tomatoes and cook till its mashed.
  • Add the cleaned chicken, salt and turmeric.
  • Mix well and cook for 10 mins with closed lid in simmer.
  • Add ginger, garlic, pepper powder, garam masala, chilly powder and coriander powder.
  • Mix well and cook for 10 more mins with closed lid.
  • :- If in a hurry, u can omit ginger-garlic paste. The curry still would be tasty.
  • Pour ghee, add crushed pepper and curry leaves.
  • Mix well and cook for 2 mins.
  • :- Serve hot.
