Manja Kozhy Curry

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Chicken
  • 2 nos Onion sliced
  • 2 tbsp Ginger chopped
  • 3 nos Garlic pods chopped
  • 6 nos Green chillies finely chopped
  • 3 sprigs Curry leaves
  • 2 nos Potato cut into cubes
  • 1 no Tomato sliced
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder
  • 2 nos Cardamom Elakka
  • 3 nos Cloves Grambu
  • 1/2" stick Cinnamon Karuvapatta
  • 1/2 cup Grated coconut
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • Oil As required
  • Salt As required

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add onion and sautT.
  • Add ginger, garlic, green chilli, tomato and curry leaves and stir for a minute.
  • Add cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon and grated coconut and stir for a minute.
  • Add pepper powder and salt, mix well and then add turmeric powder and mix.
  • Add chicken and potato. Mix well.
  • Add coconut milk and some water(if needed, just to cover chicken and potato) and cook it on very low flame for half an hour or till done.
  • :- Serve hot with plain rice.
