Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Milk powder
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 no Egg white
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 3/4 ltr Milk
  • 1 tsp Rose water
  • Cardamom powder A pinch, Elakka
  • 1 tbsp Badam chopped
  • 4 nos Pista chopped
  • Yellow colour A drop
  • Saffron A pinch

Instructions
 

  • Boil the milk and keep on a low flame and add sugar.
  • Mix baking powder and milk powder in a bowl.
  • Add egg white only (don't use yellow once) and knead the mixture to make a smooth dough.
  • Immediately, make small cherry sized balls off this dough.
  • Drop the above balls into the milk.
  • Cook till it becomes double the original size.
  • :- See if the texture is soft in the middle. If not, cook it again in the milk.
  • Add rose water, cardamom powder and yellow colour.
  • Cook till the milk becomes thick.
  • Garnish with pista, badam and saffron.
  • :- Serve cold.
