Mango (Ripe) Curry

Ingredients
  

  • 2 nos Mango large ripe ones
  • 1 cup Grated fresh coconut
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • Fenugreek seeds A pinch, Uluva
  • Salt As reqd
  • Turmeric powder A pinch
  • 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp Curd or yogurt
  • Curry leaves
  • Mustard seeds
  • 2 nos Dry red chillies Kollamulaku
  • Oil

Instructions
 

  • Cut medium ripe mango into medium pieces.
  • In a saucepan, put the cut mango pieces along with little water and turmeric and boil for 2 minutes.
  • Grind coconut with cumin seeds, fenugreek and red chilli powder.
  • Add it to the mango mixture.
  • Give it one minute boil.
  • Allow to cool for 5 minutes.
  • Add the beaten curd or yogurt and mix well.
  • Heat oil in a wok.
  • Splutter mustard and saute whole red chillies, curry leaves and pinch of methi.
  • Pour it over the mango mixture.
