Eggless Chilli Chicken

Yummy homemade Chilli Chicken without using egg and ajinomotto!!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Chicken cut into small pieces
  • 4 nos Onion cut in to suare pieces
  • 12 pods Garlic – 10
  • 1 piece Ginger medium sized
  • 4 or Green chillies – 3
  • Capsicum cut int square pieces
  • 4 tbsp Corn flour
  • Soy sauce
  • Chilli sauce
  • Tomato sauce
  • Oil
  • Salt as rqrd

Instructions
 

  • Make ginger garlic paste with half of ginger and 5-6 garlic pods in a mixer grinder.
  • Wash and drain the chicken pieces.
  • Take the chicken pieces in a bowl and add cornflour,4 tbsp soy sauce,ginger garlic paste,salt and mix well.(dont add water to this)
  • Set aside for half n hour.
  • Take a small kadai and add abt 5 tbsp oil and heat.
  • Now fry the chicken pieces(both side f every piece) in a very low flame covering the lid.
  • :-Covering the lid helps the chicken pieces cook well.
  • Once all the pieces are fried set aside.
  • Heat oil in a large non-stick kadai.
  • Add chopped onion, capsicum, ginger,garlic and green chillies and sautT well for abt 10 mins.
  • Add 3 tbsp soy sauce,2 tbsp tomato sauce,1 tbsp chilli sauce,1/4 cup water and salt.
  • Saute till the gravy is thick.
  • Add the fried chicken pieces,mix well with the gravy and cover the kadai wid lid.
  • Saute till it is very dry.
  • Remove from flame and garnish with coriander leaves.
  • :-Serve hot with fried rice and raita !!
