Idly Masala

Ingredients
  

  • 4 - Idli previously steamed and cooled, and diced into bite sized pieces
  • 1/2 Green chilly
  • 4 - Curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Curry masala powder or Red chilly powder either one is ok
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 no Tomato big
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  • 1 no Onion finely sliced, medium
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a kadai.
  • Splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add the onions and saute till light brown.
  • Add the ginger-garlic paste, green chilly, salt, curry leaves, turmeric powder and curry masala powder and saute well for 2 - 3 mins.
  • Once done, add the tomatoes.
  • Stir well until it is cooked.
  • Add diced idlis and mix well.
  • Cook for 5 mins and finally add salt.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • :- Serve hot with a cup pf tea...
