Squid Masala

Squid with onion & tomato

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Squid cleaned and cut into small pieces
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder ¾ tsp
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • ¼ tsp Garam masala
  • 2 nos Onion chopped
  • 1 no Tomato chopped
  • Oil As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the squid with turmeric powder, 1/4 tsp chilli powder and salt.
  • Add 1/2 cup of water & cook the squid on a simmer fire for about 10 mins.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and saute till they turn brown.
  • Add the onions and cook till they turn soft.
  • Add the tomato, chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt and cook till tomato turn pulpy.
  • Add the cooked squid and mix well.
  • Saute till the entire curry becomes bit dry.
  • :- Serve hot with chappathi or rice.
