Pineapple Yoghurt Curry

Ingredients
  

  • Pineapple A medium sized one
  • 2 1/2 cups Plain yoghurt
  • 1 cup Shallots thinly sliced
  • Chilli powder As reqd
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • Sugar As reqd
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Curry leaves A few

Instructions
 

  • Cut pineapple into small pieces.
  • Cook it with salt and turmeric powder. Keep aside until it is cools down.
  • Add yoghurt, mix well and add sugar to taste and keep for 1 hr.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Saute shallots and add chilli powder.
  • Add it to the pineapple yoghurt mix.
  • :- Do not put the pineapple mix into the hot pan.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves and mix it with the above.
