Heat oil in a pan.
Add cumin seeds, green chilies and garlic and sautT.
Add the onions and saute until brown.
Add tomatoes and let it cook in simmering heat.
Add the tamarind extract. Let it cook for 5 minutes.
Add the garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and allow them to blend with the mixture.
Add the shrimps and salt.
Close the lid and cook for 15 mins.
Once it is cooked, turn off the heat.
Garnish with cilantro leaves.
