Tuna-Choora Fish Thoran In 5 Mins

Easy but delicious tuna fish thoran in just 5 mins using canned tuna available in EUROPE/USA/UK

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can Canned tuna fish in oil around 185 - 200 gm
  • 1 no Onion medium
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • Mustard seeds A pinch
  • 2 nos Green chillies split
  • 1/4 tsp Chilli powder optional
  • 2 - Desiccated coconut grated fresh coconut if available
  • Oil As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Splutter mustard seeds in the oil from the canned tuna.
  • :- Optionally use any oil, if tuna is canned in water.
  • Saute onions until translucent
  • Add the tuna and cook for 1 min.
  • Add salt as necessary.
  • Add the desiccated/fresh shredded coconut.
  • Add turmeric and black pepper.
  • :- Add chilly powder also if you want it to be spicy.
  • Add the green chillies, sprinkle some water and cook for another 2 mins.
  • :- Dont let the dish become too dry.
  • :- Serve hot with rice.
  • :- You can also add ginger-garlic paste if available after step 2 to enhance the taste.
