Ingredients
  

  • 1 nos Beetroot
  • 2 nos Green chillies slit
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 1/2 cups Curd / Yoghurt

For seasoning (optional):

  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds

Instructions
 

  • Peel the beetroot and cut into small cubes.
  • Heat a kadai and put the beetroot, green chillies, salt and 1 tsp water.
  • Cover and cook for 5 - 6 mins.
  • Cool the beetroot and then add the yoghurt and mix well.
  • Add salt if required.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and sputter the mustard seeds.
  • Add the curry leaves and pour it over the beetroot.
  • Mix and serve.
  • :- Serve with rice.
