Macaroni Masala

Easy evening snack - Macaroni Masala

Ingredients
  

  • 250 gm Macaroni preferably elbow shaped
  • 1/2 no Green chilly slit length wise
  • Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves A handful
  • 1 large Onion
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 5 - Curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • Oil As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Boil the macaronis with a little turmeric and salt.
  • Cook and drain it well. Set it aside for half an hour.
  • Heat oil in a kadai or wide pan.
  • Splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add the onions and ginger-garlic paste.
  • Once the paste and onions are nicely mixed and turns yellow, add the chilles and curry leaves and fry well.
  • Add the the chilly powder and mix well.
  • Add the macaroni and mix it along with the rest of the mix.
  • Let it cook for 5 mins well.
  • Add salt and coriander leaves.
  • :- Serve hot with ketchup or a dollop of curd.
