Prawn & Capsicum Fry

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Cleaned prawns
  • 1 no Capsicum chopped
  • 2 nos Onions medium
  • 4 nos Tomato medium
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • Chilly powder As reqd
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Saffron
  • Curry leaves A few
  • Salt As reqd
  • Coriander leaves chopped

Instructions
 

  • Fry onions in hot oil in a frying pan for about 5 mins.
  • Add curry leaves and fry for 3 mins.
  • Add ginger and garlic Paste to it and keep frying until the raw smell goes.
  • Add saffron, chilly and coriander powder and fry for about 2 mins.
  • Add tomatoes and a little water and fry well till tomatoes are soft and a gravy is formed.
  • Add chopped capsicum to the gravy and fry for about 5 mins.
  • Add the clean prawns and mix it well with the gravy.
  • Close the pan and let the prawns cook for about 10 - 15 mins.
  • :- Do mix it now and then as its cooking.
  • After its cooked, garnish with coriander leaves.
