Mango Thengapal Curry

Thengapal ozhicha mango curry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 no Mango medium
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 1 cup Grated coconut
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 2 - Small onions Kunjulli
  • 1 small Garlic pod
  • 1 cup Thick coconut milk
  • Curry leaves A few

Instructions
 

  • Cut mango into small cubes.
  • Cut green chillies into fine pieces.
  • Grind coconut into a smooth paste with mustard seeds, coriander powder, small onions, garlic and little water.
  • Mix mango cubes with this paste along with green chillies, salt and turmeric powder.
  • Keep it for 1/2 hr.
  • Put this mix to a pan and boil until the mangoes are done.
  • Add coconut milk.
  • :- Don`t allow to boil too much after adding coconut milk.
  • Season with mustard seeds, curry leaves and red chillies.
  • Done !!! :-)
