Kerala Easy Crab Curry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Crab
  • 2 nos Onions chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger chopped
  • 2 nos Garlic chopped
  • 2 nos Green chillies
  • Curry leaves A few
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 5 tsp Tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 5 tsp Oil

Instructions
 

  • Cut crab into small pieces.
  • Add chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt.
  • Add one small cup of water and boil it for ten minutes in a vessel.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Fry onion till brown.
  • Add curry leaves, ginger, garlic and green chillies and fry well.
  • When it becomes light brown in colour, add tomato paste and mix it nicely.
  • Pour the crab contents into this pan and cook it for ten minutes on a low flame.
  • When the gravy becomes thick, switch off the flame.
  • :- Serve with chappathi & rice.
