Kerala Chicken Thoran

Ingredients
  

  • 400 to Chicken deboned and cut into small cubes
  • 200 to Shallots finely chopped, Kunjulli
  • 10 nos Green chillies finely chopped
  • 3 nos Garlic pods crushed or finely chopped or paste
  • 5 to Dried red chillies Kollamulaku
  • 1 - Mustard seeds
  • 2 - Curry leaves
  • 2 hand Shredded coconut Do not use dessiccated coconut
  • 4 to Eggs
  • 1 to Green peas
  • Salt As reqd
  • Oil As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oil in a pan.
  • Splutter mustard seeds and saute dried red chillies.
  • Throw in the garlic and green chillies.
  • Once they are lightly brown, add the onion.
  • Add the green peas and stir for 2 mins.
  • Add the shredded coconut and salt to taste.
  • After 3 - 4 mins, add the chicken pieces and stir for about 10 mins until the chicken is 3/4th cooked.
  • Throw in the curry leaves and stir for 2 mins.
  • Add the eggs.
  • Add salt if necessary.
  • Keep stirring until the dish appears dry.
  • Note : Use all fresh Ingredients if possible
