Uluva Cheera(Methi) Fish
Fish dipped in the flavour of methi(low fat without coconut)

- 2 nos Onion finely chopped, big
- 2 tbsp Garlic paste
- 1 cup Fenugreek leaves finely chopped, Methi leaves
- 4 - Tomato finely chopped
- Coriander powder
- 1 tbsp Chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 kg Single bone fish
- Salt As reqd
- Oil As reqd
Pour oil in a pan.
Add the chopped onions and saute.
Add the garlic paste and mix well.
When it turns golden brown, add the methi leaves.
Stir the methi leaves for 10 mins so that there is no smell of methi.
Add the chopped tomatoes, the coriander, chilli & turmeric powder.
Allow the curry to boil and when the tomatoes are 3/4th cooked, add the fish to it along with salt.
:- Goes well with rice & rotis.
:- The fish can also be fried with turmeric & salt & later added to the curry.
