Pour oil in the cooker.
When the oil turns hot, add the sliced onions.
When the onion slightly turns brown, add the cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and ginger-garlic paste and stir for 5 mins.
Add the green chillies.
Add the tomatoes and the chilli powder.
Allow it to cook and let the water leave the tomato.
Add the pudhina, coriander leaves and salt.
Add the rice and stir the mixture for 2 mins.
Add 2 full glasses of water(double quantity of the rice taken).
Pressure cook upto 2 whistles.
Open the cooker after pressure, mix the rice well and serve hot.
