Ingredients: 1 big Rice; 2 nos Onion (sliced length wise, big); 4 nos Cloves (Grambu); 4 nos Cinnamon sticks (Karugapatta); 2 nos Cardamom (Elakka); Ginger (garlic paste - 1 tbsp); 3 nos Green chillies (slit); 1 tbsp Chilly powder; 8 nos Tomato (finely chopped); 1 cup Mint leaves (Pudhina); 1/2 cup Coriander leaves; Salt (As reqd); Oil (As reqd)

Ingredients

1 big Rice
2 nos Onion sliced length wise, big
4 nos Cloves Grambu
4 nos Cinnamon sticks Karugapatta
2 nos Cardamom Elakka
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
3 nos Green chillies slit
1 tbsp Chilly powder
8 nos Tomato finely chopped
1 cup Mint leaves Pudhina
1/2 cup Coriander leaves
Salt As reqd
Oil As reqd

Instructions

Pour oil in the cooker.
When the oil turns hot, add the sliced onions.
When the onion slightly turns brown, add the cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and ginger-garlic paste and stir for 5 mins.
Add the green chillies.
Add the tomatoes and the chilli powder.
Allow it to cook and let the water leave the tomato.
Add the pudhina, coriander leaves and salt.
Add the rice and stir the mixture for 2 mins.
Add 2 full glasses of water(double quantity of the rice taken).
Pressure cook upto 2 whistles.
Open the cooker after pressure, mix the rice well and serve hot.
