  • Heat 1 spoon of oil in a pan.
  • Add onion, ginger, garlic, chillies, whole pepper, cloves, cinnamon, fennel seeds, tomatoes and coconut and saute till its turns tender.
  • Once it cools, grind the mixture to a fine paste.
  • Pour oil in a pressure cooker.
  • Add half sliced onion and saute.
  • When it turns light brown, add the ground masala.
  • Cook the masala till it turns dry.
  • Add the coriander and turmeric powder.
  • Add salt and some water followed by the chicken and mix well.
  • Pressure cook it.
  • :- If the gravy is not thick, boil it for some time.
  • :- Serve hot with rice or chapathi.
