Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan.
Saute onions(both small and medium size onions) until the onions colour changes.
Add chopped tomatoes and saute for few minutes.
Add red chillies and salt.
Keep this aside and let it to cool.
After that grind the above ingredients.
Heat 6 tsp of oil in a non-stick pan.
Add the ground mixture and cook it for 5 mins on medium flame and another 20 mins on low flame.
Pour 2 tsp of oil into it and mix well (if mixture is dry) till oil separates from it.
:- Serve with dosai, idli.
