Rava Idli

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Semolina Rava
  • 2 1/2 cups Curd/Yogurt
  • 4 nos Green chillies
  • 1 spoon Pepper
  • 1 spoon Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 1 spoon Bengal gram Kadalaparippu
  • 1 spoon Black gram Uzhunnuparippu
  • Ghee As reqd
  • 1/4 spoon Baking soda
  • Coriander leaves As reqd
  • Curry leaves As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Heat ghee in a pan.
  • Saute pepper, cumin seeds, Bengal gram, black gram, chopped green chillies, curry leaves and coriander leaves.
  • Add rava to it and fry well.
  • Allow it to cool.
  • Add baking soda and salt to curd and mix well.
  • Add the fried items to the curd and mix well.
  • Keep this for atleast 15 mins to prepare rava idlis.
  • Steam rava idlis with this batter for 10 - 15 mins.
  • :- Serve rava idli with chutney and sambhar.
