Thakkali Dry Curry

Ingredients
  

  • 4 nos Tomato sliced into big pieces, medium
  • 1 no Green chilly
  • Fenugreek seeds A generous pinch, Uluva
  • 1 tbsp Grated coconut
  • Turmeric powder A pinch
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a nonstick kadai or pan.
  • Splutter the mustard and curry leaves.
  • Add tomatoes, green chilli, fenugreek and saute for a min.
  • Add 1/2 cup water and cook (along with salt) till tomatoes are really soft.
  • Add the coconut, turmeric and chilli powder to the tomato and stir till it is dry.
