Cheera Cocunut Rice

Ingredients
  

  • 3 bundles Spinach Cheera
  • 1 cup Grated coconut
  • 2 spoon Red chilly powder
  • 2 pinches Turmeric powder
  • Oil As reqd
  • 2 nos Onion sliced
  • 2 cups Boiled rice
  • 3 sprigs Curry leaves
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 no Lemon
  • 1 no Carrot grated
  • 2 nos Green chillies
  • Coriander leaves cut into pieces

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Fry the sliced onions until it turns light brownish.
  • Add salt, red chilly powder and curry leaves and fry.
  • Add cut cheera and cook by putting the lid over the pan.
  • When done, add the grated cocunut. Mix well.
  • Add boiled rice and mix well. Keep it aside.
  • Mix the grated carrot, salt, green chilly and coriander leaves well and sprinkle on the cheera rice.
  • :- Serve hot.
