Instructions
For preparing the delicious Green Papaya Stir Fry, first pressure cook green papaya pieces with turmeric and salt in little water (approximately 3 whistles). Or you can cook it covered in a vessel along with turmeric powder and salt, till done. Papaya pieces should not be over cooked.
Grind together coconut, garlic, green chilly and cumin to a coarse mixture. Heat oil in a pan or a kadai. Splutter mustard seeds and saute curry leaves.
Fry onion till golden brown in color.
Add green papaya pieces and coconut mixture and cook till all the water is gone.
:- When cooked, green papaya should neither be too soft nor too hard. The nutritious dish should be served hot with rice. Enjoy the healthy and tasty dish with your family. Chart out this dish in your weekly menu and note that it should be prepared at least once a week.
