Grind together all the ingredients for coconut mixture.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add onion, ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and curry leaves and fry till brown.
Add tomatoes and fry till oil is visible.
Add coriander powder, chilly powder and garam masala powder and saute for few minutes.
Add cleaned chicken, salt and mix well.
Add thin coconut milk and cook till the chicken is done.
Mix the ground coconut mixture and bring to boil.
Add thick coconut milk.
Add the tempering with mustard seeds, dried red chillies, chopped small onions and curry leaves. Kerala tasty chicken curry is ready.
