Chicken With Spring Onion

Taste the difference of chicken in spring onion & capsicum gravy

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Chicken
  • 2 cups Onion medium squarely diced
  • 3/4 cup Capsicum squarely sliced
  • 1/4 cup Ginger finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Garlic finely chopped
  • 3/4 cup Spring onion finely chopped
  • 3 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Pepper powder
  • 3/4 cup Tomato chopped
  • Vegetable oil

For marination:-

  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Pepper powder
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the chicken pieces with the ingredients for marination.
  • :- Small pieces of chicken tastes good.
  • Refrigerate it for an hour.
  • Shallow fry the chicken pieces.
  • :- Gets fully cooked in the gravy.
  • Saute the onion in the same oil.
  • :- Do not let it turn brown.
  • Add ginger and garlic.
  • When it gets sauteed, add all the powders one by one.
  • Saute it for 2 mins.
  • Add tomato slices into it and stir occasionally.
  • Add spring onion and capsicum one by one. Saute well.
  • Pour 1/2 cup boiled water.
  • When it simmers, add the fried chicken pieces.
  • When it simmers, keep the flame low.
  • Let the chicken get fully cooked.
