Crispy Bread Pakoda

Ingredients
  

  • 4 nos Potato big
  • 1/2 cup Peas soaked
  • 2 nos Onions big
  • 4 nos Green chillies
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Curry leaves
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Sambhar Powder a pinch
  • Salt As reqd
  • Bread slices (Fresh Bread)
  • Water in a small bowl
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions
 

  • Boil potatoes and peas(Soaked overnight) & keep aside.
  • Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add ginger, garlic, curry leaves and finely chopped chillies and saute well.
  • Add chopped onions till its done.
  • Add boiled peas and potatoes with little turmeric powder, sambhar powder along with salt and about 4 tbsp of water and toss well.
  • Cut the sides of the bread & dip it into water and squeeze well.
  • :- Make sure not to squeeze hard.
  • Take the mixture and put it into the bread and bound it nicely without breaking.
  • Continue making the same way.
  • Heat oil in a kadai or a pan.
  • Drop the balls into it and sim down the fire. Deep fry.
  • :- Serve hot with Tomato Sauce & Sip Tea.
  • :- You may use Paneer grated instead of Potatoes.
