Chicken Kothukari

Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm Ground chicken
  • 2 nos Onion
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 tsp
  • 2 tsp Tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds and Black gram
  • Curry leaves A few
  • 1 tsp Red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
  • Splutter mustard seeds and black gram and saute curry leaves.
  • Add onion and fry it.
  • Add ground chicken and fry it as well.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and salt to the chicken and fry it for 5 mins in simmer mode.
  • Add tomato paste, red chilly powder, turmeric powder and garam masala and fry it for 5 more mins.
  • Add litle water may be a cup and cook upto 2 whistles in cooker.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • :- Serve hot with rice and rotis.
