Green Chilli Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 12 nos Chicken drumsticks
  • 3 nos Onions – 2 finely chopped, large
  • 15 Green chillies finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Ginger finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Garlic finely chopped
  • 2 - Cinnamon Karugapatta
  • 4 - Cloves Grambu
  • 1 tbsp Coriander seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Fenugreek seeds Uluva
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 1/4 tsp Fennel seeds Perinjeerakam
  • 1 tbsp Dried fenugreek powder Kasuri methi
  • 1 tsp Kaloova
  • 1 Oil
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Grind together all the spices into a fine powder.
  • Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Add onions and fry till it starts to turn brown.
  • Add the chicken pieces.
  • Add green chillies and cook till all the water content is nearly evaporated.
  • Add ginger and garlic and fry for a few mins.
  • When the chicken is nearly done, add the ground powder and salt and mix well.
  • Fry for another few mins.
  • Add a little water and cook till most of the water is evaporated.
