Channa Masala - Perfect Side Dish

Ingredients
  

  • 250 gm Channa soaked
  • 5 nos Onions medium
  • 3 nos Tomato medium
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic chopped
  • 4 nos Green chillies slit, big
  • Curry leaves As reqd
  • 1 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 - Cloves Grambu
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • Salt As reqd
  • Oil As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Heat coconut oil in pressure cooker.
  • Add cloves and cinnamon.
  • Add chopped ginger, garlic, curry leaves and green chillies.
  • Add chopped onions and saute well.
  • Add the turmeric powder, chilli powder and garam masala and saute well.
  • Finally, add the soaked channa and mix well.
  • Add salt as required.
  • Add the required amount of water and cook it in cooker.
  • :- You can also add coconut milk after the channa is well cooked, if it is too spicy.
